For wine lovers and collectors! Dale Chihuly created the label for the first Chateau Ste. Michelle Artist Series Red with the 1993 vintage to celebrate the inspired collaboration between artisan winemaking and fine art. For the 2012 vintage, Chihuly was asked to create a new label to commemorate the 20th Anniversary, and he selected his Silver Venetian work that was cast at the Walla Walla Foundry. Each year the Artist Series Red is created by Winemaker Bob Berthau and his team from the best lots of the best grapes in the entire Chateau Ste. Michelle portfolio. Made mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon, lesser amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec are blended to lend complexity. Thank you Deborah Cushing.
